At the Center for Esthetic Dentistry, LLC, we treat the whole person, not just the tooth. I am a holistic dentist, which means that I work to benefit your overall health as well as your smile. I know that happy dental patients achieve the best results, because they are relaxed, at ease, and able to communicate with my staff and me. Our dental patients are able to choose from a host of offerings designed for comfort, including aroma therapy, hand massages with warm mitts, personal CD players with headphones, and hot facial towels. Our office is bedecked with cozy blankets and soft pillows. We also offer special music and a juice bar with refreshing drinks. Everything we do here at our New Haven, Connecticut, cosmetic dentistry center has a distinct feminine touch, meant to empower and soothe you. We even offer a special gum massage with a tingly oral rinse.

The Art of Smiles Family – Meet Our Team
Dr. N. Summer Lerch, DDS
Dr. N. Summer Lerch, DDS, FAGD, AACD, is a 1982 graduate of the University of Washington Dental School and a 1984 graduate of the Family Dentistry Residency program from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She was awarded the Team Dentistry award upon completion of dental school and then went on to attain her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1988. She was also affiliated with the Pierre Fouchard Academy. In 1989, after joining the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), she fell in love with cosmetic dentistry and the impact it had on people's lives. She then renamed her practice "Center for Esthetic Dentistry, LLC" developed her mission statement,
"BEAUTIFUL SMILES; LIFE ALTERED. EXTRAORDINARY PATIENT SATISFACTION. A DENTAL PRACTICE WHERE HONOR AND DIGNITY ARE COMMONPLACE, FOREVER,"
and set about fulfilling it. She became accredited with the AACD in 1990. In order to keep her eye trained for the best in cosmetics and to help others attain accreditation, she started as an examiner and consultant for the AACD in 1992. She was the editor of the AACD Journal from 1992 through 1994. She currently continues as an examiner for the accreditation process and is President of the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an affiliate of the AACD.
Dr. Lerch's practice management style, her team's development in communication, and their patient satisfaction orientation, has earned her practice the "Best of New Haven" award by the regional Advocate newspaper the past five out of six years. She has appeared on local television shows, had New Haven Register articles featuring her practice and cosmetic dentistry, and has been consulted by major magazines, i.e. Vogue and Redbook, for articles they were writing about cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Lerch is deeply committed to all people getting what they want and the smile they deserve through cosmetic and preventive dentistry.

Marianne Driscoll, Cosmetic Dental Hygienist
Marianne Driscoll is our cosmetic dental hygienist and an integral part of our New Haven and Greenwich, Connecticut area cosmetic dentistry team. A registered dental hygienist since 1974, Marianne is experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of periodontal (gum) care and cosmetic hygiene procedures. She graduated from the University of Florida and Fones School of Dental Hygiene. Marianne is committed to stellar clinical results. Her high standards apply to everything from the procedures she performs to the way she interacts with patients. Her goal is that every patient feel welcomed, comfortable, and accepted while they are receiving treatment and thereafter. Because Marianne understands the relationship between health and appearance, she is committed to having all of her patients completely disease-free so that they can have the beautiful smiles they want and deserve.
Gail Kuziel, CDA – Patient Care Coordinator and Smile Design Consultant
It is Gail's friendly smile that welcomes patients to our office and makes them feel at home. Gail has over 30 years of experience in dentistry, with expertise in everything from dental assisting to dental office sales, customer service, business management and dental insurance expertise. Currently, she is in charge of our patient scheduling, financial coordination and marketing.
Gail continuously helps our patients afford the dental care they deserve by assisting them in arranging comfortable payment options as well as maximizing dental insurance benefits. Gail's willingness to go above and beyond for people is a true asset to our patients, whether they are receiving cosmetic dentistry, general dental care, or restorative treatments. She makes them feel comfortable and welcome at our office.
She enjoys meeting new people and helping patients understand their dental treatment. When she is not working she enjoys painting, dancing and volunteer work.
